Conditions for orders and commissions
1. General Provisions
These Terms & Conditions govern the rights and obligations between the seller (rhubarbrb) and the buyer arising from purchase contracts concluded through the online shop at rhubarbrb.cz, and from commission agreements for custom artwork. By placing an order, the buyer confirms they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Placing an Order
An order is placed by filling out and submitting the order form on the website. The order is a binding proposal to enter into a purchase contract. The contract is concluded when the seller confirms the order via email. The seller reserves the right to refuse an order in justified cases (item no longer available, incorrect pricing, etc.).
3. Price & Payment
All prices are listed in CZK and include VAT (if applicable). The seller is not a VAT payer. Payment is made via bank transfer based on payment details sent by the seller after order confirmation. The order will be shipped after the payment is received.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are shipped via Zásilkovna (Packeta) to the selected pickup point. Shipping costs are included in the product price unless stated otherwise. Typical delivery time is 3–7 business days after payment is received. For custom commissions, the delivery time is agreed upon individually.
5. Withdrawal from Contract
In accordance with § 1829 of the Czech Civil Code, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. This right does NOT apply to: – Custom-made goods (commissions) created according to the buyer's specifications – Goods that have been modified according to the buyer's wishes To withdraw, contact us in writing at hello@rhubarbrb.cz. The goods must be returned undamaged and complete. The purchase price will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
6. Complaints & Warranty
The seller is liable for defects that exist at the time of delivery. The buyer is obliged to inspect the goods upon receipt and report any defects without undue delay. Complaints should be sent to hello@rhubarbrb.cz with a description and photos of the defect. The complaint will be resolved within 30 days. Handmade products may have minor variations — these are characteristic of handcrafted work and are not considered defects.
7. Intellectual Property
All artwork, images, and content on this website are protected by copyright. Purchasing a physical piece does not transfer copyright. The buyer may not reproduce, distribute, or use the artwork commercially without explicit written consent from the seller.
8. Final Provisions
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic. For out-of-court dispute resolution, the buyer may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI): www.coi.cz. These Terms & Conditions are effective as of the date of publication on this website.
